Never considered Adams Irons. Was playing with Titleist ZB Forged and really no complaints but also realized I don't play enough or am good enough to really be playing forged irons. Not enough forgiveness.
But at Golfsmith about 9-months ago just kicking around and rep really played up these irons and the fact they come standard with the KBS shaft which is an add on with other clubs.
Fell in love with the look but the performance for me has been awesome. I lost a bit of distance with previous irons but didn't really care but with the CB2 I quickly picked up at least a club and if i want to force it certainly a club and half.
And these are somewhat of a hybrid forged club that gives you the control your looking for in a forged iron but way more forgiveness.
I just feel like I can tempo everything down and more comfortable with what I know I can do with them.
Only thing I heard since buying these that Adams is not making anymore?? The Adams rep I worked with I saw a month later at a Ryder Cup tournament and said he was sold out with orders and could not get anymore??
Just curious as to why?? I love them and wouldn't trade them for anything. And then got a 19 degree hybrid and wow. I never liked hybrids, have several others but was fitted for it and I can count on what it will do everytime.

I added the Adams driver, 3 wood, and a couple hybrids last season and was impressed by how they helped my game improve. This year I decided to look into a new set of irons. I did not even consider the Adams when I first began the demo process. I hit many of the popular irons and some of them were very good, but when my salesman from Golfsmith suggested that I try the cb2's it was love at first swing. These clubs are not being made any longer so I needed to move fast to find a set before it was too late. I am so glad that I did. I have played only a few rounds of golf thanks to a very mild March here in Michigan and I am learning the distance's of each club as I play. They feel very solid and well balanced which allow me to rip through the shot with little effort. The feel is awesome, like butter and they look great at set up or in the bag. I am 65 and feel like this could be my best year of golf in decades. I never thought that I would play a forged iron again but these sticks are easy to use because of the perimeter weighting. I love the KBS 90 regular shaft. I needed to have the lie angle bent to 2 degree's flat to fit my swing and now I am looking forward to getting my hcp down to single digits this summer. I hope this review is helpful and good luck to all of you golfers.

I tryed every brand in the store looking to spend whatever it took to find the best feeling iron I could find. I hit JPX 800 , Ping I20S a few Mizuno MPs, Burner2.0s, TM CBs and whatever else was there. All heads where covered with tape so I had no idea what I was hitting. One iron by far stood out over all the others. It was the Adams CB2s.I just love the sound and the sweet feel they have. Short irons Long irons everthing about this set fits my game.

I put these Adams CB2 irons in my bag last season, and they are not coming out!! They have a great feel on well struck shots yet they are still somewhat forgiving, and they set up perfectly behind the ball. The black finish is holding up well, and on that rare sunny day up here in Oregon there is no distracting glare. My set has the KBS Tour shafts and the pairing has been perfect for me. Any mid to low handicapper would benefit from trying these clubs!

I decided to try and get more of a "players" iron set yet still desired something that had some degree of forgiveness. I could not be more happy! This set is a big step up from my super game improvement irons that served a purpose, but left something to be desired. Make no mistake, I have only been golfing for about 2 years and carry about an 18 handicap. I am getting at least 10 yards more in distance and a lot better ball flight (height and a slight draw). The feedback and feel of these beauties are amazing! My game and confidence has improved since purchasing these bad boys. Oh yeah, make sure you get fit. I required a 2 degree adjustment in lie and a 1/2" extra in lenght. What a difference. Feels like thses clubs were taylor fit for me. Buy these irons and you won't be disapointed.

I have been golfing for 30 years and have always owned either Callaway or Ping irons. Over the last 15 years I have had 3 sets of Ping irons and they were fine. The last irons were the Ping Rapture which I had a very hard time "feeling". I decided to get some new irons and had my sights set on the Callaway Razr irons, the Wilson Staff irons, and the Burner 2.0's.
I went into the cage at the golf store and started the process. I had been hitting a number of different brands and had not fell in love yet. The pro handed me an iron (6-iron) and told me not to look at the brand, to just hit it a few times. I smoked it longer and straighter than the others over and over. It also had a tremendous "feel" that I'd been missing. I finally looked down and saw the "Adams" logo. I was stunned because I had NEVER considered an Adams product and never thought I would.
I then took the Callaway Razr 6-iron, the Wilson Staff 6-iron, and the CB2 6-iron to the real range to see if what I felt in the cage would work where it really counted.
In short, the Adams CB2 destroyed the other two in every category.....length, feel, control, and not that it matters that much...but, it's just a better looking club.
I'm now wondering what I'll do when these eventually wear out. I know it's crazy but I've thought about buying a back-up set because these things are just that great. They've transformed my iron play. They are forgiving and still feel like a players club...I've had them 7 months and am so glad that pro put one in my hand because I would never have found them otherwise.
I'm now looking at a demo of the Fast 12 because if Adams is that great in irons I thought I'd look at the driver.
Lesson here for me was that the "big name" boys may have the marketing muscle but Adams makes the best irons. And, it's not close. I've never raved about a set of clubs like this and I certainly have never written a review. I just want people to know how great these clubs are...if I could give 10 starts I would.

Played Pings for years. But I purchased these without playing them...for the look and more importantly, the FEEL! They certainly have not disappointed me. Crisp ball striking, excellent sound, and extremely smooth feel. And they look nice too...don't mind using head covers to protect the forged heads. May never return to Pings again.
